Tagetes erecta, also known as African Marigold, is a drought tolerant and deer/rabbit resistant annual, making it easy to grow and maintain. Its bright yellow blooms add sunshine to any garden. 

Filling up your garden with 'sunshine,' this flower is perfect in your garden honoring Our Lady of Guadelupe. The marigold is a traditional flower used in many ceremonies including the 'Day of the Dead.' The strong scent and bright colors are believed to guide loved ones back to their families. They make great altar flowers at Mass along with many other flowers dedicated to Our Lady.
