Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe refers to the Marian apparitions to St. Juan Diego in Mexico in 1531. According to the traditional account, Mary appeared to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill and asked that a church be built there. As a sign, roses bloomed out of season and when Juan Diego opened his tilma before the bishop, the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared upon it. 

Mary's words to Juan Diego still offer comfort today: "Am I not here, I who am your mother?" 

This sticker celebrates Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, and the tender relationship between Mary and her children- a littel reminder that wherever we are, we remain under a mother's care.
