The Common Evening Primrose, Oenothera biennis,  is a tall perennial with yellow blooms that is native to North America. Blooming late into the fall, it's a great choice for pollinators. Add a touch of beauty to your garden while supporting important insect populations.

The Evening Primrose branches out to resemble a candelabra. This flower opens in the evening drawing in the nocturnal moths to visit, such as the Sphinx moth. Many cultures think of this moth as a messenger (angel) from another world.
