Gomphrena globosa is a beautiful and easy to grow annual. The Audray Mix produces a mix of purple, pink and white blooms. Commonly known as Globe Amaranth, it is an excellent cut flower with uniform stems. Delight in its vibrant colors and add a touch of elegance to any flower arrangement.

The shades of purple represents the color of royalty. The Tyrian purple was a dye for royalty developed by the Phoenicians. The dye comes from the mucus of a sea snail. Christ was cloaked in a purple robe and crowned with a crown of thorns.
